He lived in the woods with his animals, Peg and Winston, both sheep.

Each Year Peg and Winston got together and 2 lambs were born. These would play in
the field all day.

The long bearded mans 2 sheep soon multiplyed and he had no choice to become a shepherd.

It was a lonely life on his own as a shepherd so decided to look
for a wife.

He was overtaken with the large number of beautiful young ladies so put himself up
for auction. Bids to start at one penny.

Initially, it was difficult to get a bid, as there was no guarantee with the long bearded man.
