Another great Warwickshire Village. Not been there far many years. Now I'm retired, this summer I plan to visit some of the places from years gone by. My memories of Fillongly are mainly childhood. Not a lot of money to spare at home in the mid 60's but a couple of times each summer we would head off to the Cottage Inn, Fillongly,  they did such lovely freshly made sandwiches. I can remember, roast beef and onion, with slices of tomato on the side. As I say not much money so we shared a plate of sandwiches between us. Must have been good, as this is a special childhood memory.
