I'll kick us off with the river Avon.
Any offers on rivers or lakes beginning with 'B' any photos would be great too.

C is for the river Cole, a river I played and fell in many times. Sourse in Wythall near Kings Norton and travels 25 miles where it joins the River Blythe in Coleshill. Many water mills were powered by he Cole, one of which is Sarehole Mill

Don't know whether this counts but I will try. Edgbaston Reservoir Hey, townie as we say this is a friendly forum. I have never looked up definition of lake. However somewhere in the definition there would be something like. Still, expanse and water. That fits lake and reservoir, so it counts.

The River Thames is also registered as the River Isis. It starts in the Cotswolds. The Cotswolds come over the border into Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Gerald.

Gerald, why not, it comes into surrounding counties. Let's go for Isis. Another I have found is Inkberrow Ford, in the village of Inkberrow. Twm
