Gerald the only Kingshurst Labour Club I can find is on Chelmsley Wood Clopton crescent. I am trying to remember a building on Kingshurst that was near the lake we used to walk along a path from Norman chamberlain to Kingshurst and it was there maybe a scouts hut It would have been between Fordbridge Road and Woodside.

That's the only Labour Club I remember. It was called Kinghurst and District Labour Club. There was a youth employment office set up in large old hut near Kingshurst School. Could this previously have been a labour club?

The place I am thinking of may have been called Yorkswood Social Club.

When I moved to Chelmsley in 68, my neighbours had moved from Kingshurst. They were a very social club sort of family, and every Saturday night they would head that way. But I can't remember the name of the club.
