Afternoon
The Diesel Electric train from Cardiff to London can travel at 140MPH and could reach higher speeds if needed.
Do we need HS2 and all that it costs.
Bring back Steam...Now.

Gerald they can easily build a train that will travel 200mph and more but the infrastructure is not up to it.

Thats hit the nail on the head. But the Welsh Scheme has shown that it is cheaper to upgrade than rebuild.
Each 40 miles of the Welsh upgrade cost what 1 mile of HS2 is costing.
The British government are covered in egg, so much so that they will not finance any more rail upgrades in Wales.
Sour grapes.
Lets get some real people in Government.
