Have you ever been on a Paddle Steamer. Often they were used for Ferry Services like the crossing from
Grimsby to Hull. I mention this on this forum because a lot of people from the Midlands would go to
Cleethorpes for a day trip or holiday.

Only paddle steamer I was on, steamer probably not the correct term, was along the Mississippi in Memphis.  Now paddle boats in Perry Hall playing fields I really know something about.
