Always went to Castle Bromwich Hall gardens to pick a bunch of Bluebells for Mom.
Do you remember the annual Castle Bromwich Show. A small event but really good where
everyone seemed to go. Great times.
Take care
Gerald.

My Wife who lived on Kingshurst remembers picking Bluebells in Chelmsley woods, few years before all the housing began.

I've learnt something tonight, did you know that Duran Duran drummer Roger Taylor lived in Hawthorne Road when he was a kid. I must have walked passed his house hundreds of times.

Great picture of the post office. I don't remember it. Looks like a Cruik beam house on which the gable has been raised. Lovely building. Is it still standing?
