Hi, I wonder if anyone remembers a company of this name.  It was based at 34 Aston Street, Birmingham in and around the 1950s.
I have been asked by a cousin, who lives in Canada, to try to find anything out about Max Gate. The company apparently made brass fittings.  His father worked there as an accountant but he died around 1956.
Any info whatsoever would be appreciated.
Thank you
Ronnie

Thanks Nick,
I'm trying all avenues but even the Companies House doesnt appear to have them registered.  Only one reply on google and that is a brass corkscrew on sale in 2014 on ebay.  The company makers is down as Max Gate Ltd, 34 Aston Street, Birmingham : 1954.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks
Ronnie

Hello Ronnie
I have had a good search, can find lots of brass workers but not Max Gate. I will carry on looking for you.
Gerald.
