Hi to all....My name is Diane Buckler, nee , Keay.
I lived at 363 New John St West from1944-1965.I attended Summer lane school,(now demolished) from 1955-1959, and have attended Summer Lane reunion, approximately 6 years ago, but , have been unable to trace any information on my old school since then.
I would love to receive any information on the above, now living in Anglesay, with a view to meeting up with school friends, and just sheer interest in my old school itself. Can anybody help.

Hello Diane, you brave girl you, let me welcome you on behalf of us all ....

It was before my time, Diane, ( what a great name ) only in years and not in spirit, Maybe my good friend, Popeye, will be able to help you, whenever he decidies to come on here and stop peeking at me on facebook. LOL !

He is a wise and knowledgable Gentleman, in these matters. He likes to help a lady whether she is in distress or not ........  WHoooO ..... WhooooO ... !

If not, J2 will probably know .... He told me one time, that he and a mouse, used to pull the stocking tops off the milk bottles in The Windmill from old Amsterdam ....

Ah .... as you can see, you have come to the right place and are already in good hands ....    Shocked   Kiss  Kiss

I was born and reared in Birmingham and I'm proud of it .... though I've lived in Dublin these past 33 years and my mothers Irish .... doesn't make me an Irishman ....

I'm an Englishman, and have never pretended to be anyone else .... and I'm glad and thankful to be .... The Irish people are great, but they're too small minded for me .... Like the Welsh, the Scottish and the Northern Irish .... they all have a chip on their shoulder .... and they are always knocking the English .... yet they are the ones that cause all the trouble ....

I'll tell you why, another time, and open your eyes to the injustice of how downtrodden the Englsh are ....

Long live England .... England Uber Alles ... LOL !

So Sheila, my friend, I am English first .... and glad to be so ......... and an Irishman last ......   Kiss

Hi!

My name is George Jones.  I went to Summer Lane School from 1954-58.  I've seen some amazing photographs of the school, it's teachers and some of the pupils I remember.  Wonder if there are others somewhere?  Be good to hear from anyone who might know.  Best wishes to all.
