Introducing myself

Hi I'm Tony. Born in West Wolverhampton 1947 Staffordshire UK. Had a lovely life raising 2 daughters and a Granddaughter in Hereford where I lived for 30 years now enjoying life in a very different place in Gorleston Norfolk UK. Hills to mountains to flatland in one long swoop. I have been a self trained musician / entertainer for most of my life but have had to work to make ends meet. I make stained glass panels in any spare time as well as the family history epic search.
I know that my Mothers Harrison / Aston / Stone family lived in the Aston area of Birmingham 1800's to early 1900's. The Harrisons came down from Hull to Burton on Trent and into Birmingham in 1874 following the brewery trade.
Dad's Jones' family came from Berriew in Montgomeryshire Wales to Wolverhampton sometime before 1866 when Great Grandad was born. From there my Dads brothers and sisters mainly left Wolverhampton to start life elsewhere - Manchester - Plymouth - Hampshire - Gloucestershire. Family mobility in the UK at it's best.
Cheers for now and good searching. Tony
